High pressure court cleaning explained

Using a deep wash system prior to moss treatment of tennis courts will improve safety, drainage and provide the 20 year life expectancy for this type of surface, providing it is regularly maintained with 7 year re-painting periods. Court location, i.e. trees and buildings, can have a bearing on the frequency of this treatment.

Surface maintenance and spray painting for macadam courts

The provision of carefully planned, regular maintenance will extend the life of the court surface, fencing and court equipment thus delaying more expensive early replacements. Spray painting should last 7 years before repeating. This operation will be carried out by highly experienced contractors using L.T.A approved acrylic tennis court paints applied in two spray coats and finished with non-slip line markings. Sometimes a court may require a special resin binder coat to reinforce the macadam before applying the colour spray. Two tone green is the normal finish but other colours are available.
